On Monday 28th June a team of four, led by Tom Sadowski, will take on the epic challenge of playing 72 holes of golf in one day.
The team will commence play at 3.30am at Hallamshire Golf Club in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Tom commented ‘We all love playing golf and the challenge is a unique one we all feel. The challenge of raising money for such a good cause was the main factor in us all signing up. We all have had personal contact with people who have suffered from cancer. The motivation to be able to help in a small way has inspired us all. One of the team has had personal experience of a family member who used Macmillan support, so he wanted to give something back as the support they delivered was outstanding. One team member works with children who suffer from cancer. He finds their strength inspiring. Personally as team captain writing this, I’m so pleased to do this for such a worthy cause.’
