UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 Heritage Exhibition tells the story of Women’s Football from the 1850s until today. It charts the popularity of the game during the First World War and the ban on women playing football on FA affiliated grounds in 1921.
Family Proms with The Sheffield Philharmonic Orchestra
Saturday 16th July
The Victoria Hall presents Family Proms! This special event is a fantastic way to bring the whole family together for a fun afternoon, and a great opportunity for young listeners to learn about all the instruments and different sounds of the orchestra.
Sharrow Vale Road Market
Sunday 17th July
Sharrow Vale Market is held three times year, along vibrant Sharrow Vale Road in South West Sheffield.
There are around 100 stalls at each market selling a wide variety of locally sourced and homemade produce, with street food from all corners of the globe, crafts, clothing, plants and more.
Jurassic Park Outdoor Cinema at Kenwood Hall
Sunday 7th August
An outdoor summer event at its finest! Pre-film, cinema-goers can enjoy a silent disco, using supplied fantastic headphones, in the grounds of Kenwood Hall before snuggling down as the sun sets, to watch the film.
